The faculty associated with the Center are accomplished scholars and researchers working at twelve of the premier educational and research institutions in the country. These individuals make collaboration a focal point of their work, often engaging in inter-institutional and interdisciplinary partnerships. The work they do represents innovative research in the science of information. In addition to their work that is featured in hundreds of peer-reviewed academic journal articles, Center faculty also engage in several industry partnerships with such global companies as Microsoft and Google, and are the owners of dozens of U.S. Patents and other conditional and public licenses of intellectual property.
