We work closely with Prof. Mark Lundstrom's group on the applied aspects of quantum transport modeling. We also explore less understood fundamental issues like inelastic scattering, transient transport and strongly correlated transport beyond the self-consistent field approximation. This is needed in order to lay the foundation for the next generation of concepts for nanoscale electronics including exotic applications based on spin, entanglement and coherence.
