Prof. Bin Yu has been named the 2016 Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS) Rietz Lecturer. She will give her lecture July 11?15, 2016, at the World Congress of Probability and Statistics in Toronto, Ontario, Canada \r \rThe Rietz Lecturer is chosen every three years by the IMS Committee on Special Lectures. It is one of the highest academic honors bestowed by the IMS.
