In recognition of her outstanding mentoring of undergraduate women in mathematics, the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) presented the first M. Gweneth Humphreys Award to Rhonda J. Hughes, Helen Herrmann Professor of Mathematics at Bryn Mawr College. \r\rWe would also like to note that the online video series called "Science of NFL Football" produced in partnership by NBC and the National Science Foundation, in which Rhonda appears, was awarded a Sports Emmy for Outstanding New Approaches Sports programming by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
