Fall Seminar Series Kicks Off

The Center for Science of Information will kick off their Fall semester seminar series with a talk by Praveen Venkatesh, Ph.D. candidate at Carnegie Mellon University on September 30. The bi-weekly seminars held on Wednesdays at 2 PM (ET) and delivered online to the broader CSoI community will feature young scholars in the science of information field. Wojciech Szpankowski, CSoI Director, says, "The Center is an excellent place for us to engage young researchers at Purdue and beyond that are interested in collaborating on science of information topics. The online seminar series allows us to provide a platform for interchange during this time of the pandemic."

Venkatesh will present on "Information Flow and Representation in Neural Circuits". Following Venkatesh's talk on the September 30, will have the following researchers currently scheduled (seminar titles TBA).
