This year, BEACON Center is responsible for the planning of the annual STC Directors' Meeting. It will be held in Arlington, at the Westin Arlington Gateway Hotel, near NSF HQ. It will consist of three parts: 1) August 23: STC 101, an NSF-planned and required half-day training ONLY for NEW STC's (yet to be announced), afternoon-evening (existing centers are NOT invited) 2) August 24: an all-day event aimed at center directors, administrative directors, managing directors, EHRD directors, diversity directors, knowledge transfer directors, and other key STC leadership, including dinner and an after-dinner keynote 3) August 25: a half-day continuation aimed primarily at EHRD directors, diversity directors, and managing/administrative directors, held through lunch. Center directors are welcome, but not expected to attend.
