The mission of the Center for Science of Information is to advance science and technology through new paradigms in the quantitative understanding of the representation, communication, and processing of information in biological, physical, social, and engineered systems. The Center seeks to develop the fundamental principles underlying various aspects of information along with their application to diverse scientific, engineering, social, and economic domains.
The symposium is being organized to bring together, in a small workshop setting, some of the top leaders to discuss the current challenges and research directions in fields related to science of information.
