    Core Science of Information Track (Undergraduate)


    This track offers both short and semester equivalent courses to provide a solid foundation in the concepts and methods of information science.

    This track is suitable for undergraduate students that have a strong interest in mathematics including as a pre-requisite Calculus 1, 2 & 3. (Note: the Ethics & Philosophy of Information course, and the Introduction to R for Data Science course do not require calculus.)

    Completing this track will help prepare students for more rigorous topics in the science of information at the graduate student level.

    All courses in this track are available as video tutorials on our YouTube Channel, and some courses are also available on dedicated distance learning platforms.

    Probability: Basic Concepts & Discrete Random Variables

    Prerequisite: Completion of a course in calculus is suggested.
