  1. Virtual Brown Bag Presentation by Minji Kim

  2. June 15-26, 2015 Gene Golub SIAM Summer School
    on Randomized Numerical Linear Algebra in Delphi, Greece. Application deadline is February 1, 2015. http://www.cs.rpi.edu//~drinep/G2S3_RandNLA_2015/.

  3. Data Incubator Fellowship.
    The Data Incubator is an intensive six-week fellowship that prepares masters, PhDs, and postdocs in STEM + social science fields seeking industry careers as data scientists. The program is free for fellows and supported by sponsorships from dozens of employers across multiple industries. In response to the overwhelming interest in our earlier sessions, we will be holding another fellowship. The next program (both in-person and electronic) will be 03/23/2015 – 05/01/2015. http://www.thedataincubator.com/

  4. Nancy Lynch will co-organize the third Workshop on Biological Distributed Algorithms (BDA),
    to be held at MIT on August 18th and 19th, 2015. Members of the CSoI community are invited to attend and participate.

  4. Steve Mussmann, a Channels Scholar with CSoI, is a Finalist for the Churchill Scholarship,

  5. Tsachy Weissman and post-doctoral scholars Zhiying Wang, Dmitri Pavlichin, Mikel Hernaez,
