  • Bell Labs - Research Job Openings in Machine Learning / Also Summer Internship Openings

    Bell Labs invites applications for multiple research positions in statistics, machine learning, and pattern recognition.  Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Statistics, or in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering with a Concentration in Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, or Data Mining, with broad knowledge about modern methodologies and tools in these areas. 

    The company also expects openings for summer internships in Machine Learning.  Generally the internship runs for 10 weeks starting in early July.  For these openings, please contact tin.ho@alcatel-lucent.com for more information.

    Job candidates must demonstrate potentials for excellence in research in the concerned areas, with a collaborative spirit, broad technical interests, and strong communication skills.  Preference will be given to those with practical experiences in working with complex data from real-world applications.   See http://ect.bell-labs.com/sl  for examples about our recent works.
