The Center for Science of Information held its first Industry Roundtable on April 5th and 6th, 2011 in the Birck Nanotechnology Center on Purdue University's campus. Over 20 industry representatives spent time together and in breakout sessions engaging in conversation about real-life problems and applications they see in their fields. They provided much needed input into various research topics and worked to validate the Center's research directions. In short, the roundtable provided an opportunity for industry representatives to hear about the Center's plans in more detail, to provide critical feedback on those plans, and to discuss potential partnerships and collaborations going forward. Please see the copies of the three presentations made during the meeting, and copies of posters shown during the April 5th poster session.
