December 3-5, 2013
Purdue University
West Lafayette, IN
This year's annual NSF site visit will be held on December 4 and 5, 2013, and will be preceded by an "All-Hands" meeting on December 3. The All-Hands meeting serves as the Center's Annual Meeting and the focus will be on future directions for the STC, research accomplishments, and research grand challenges. It also serves as a time to answer any questions or concerns Center participants may have. The meeting will include plenary presentations aimed at the Center's broader research agenda (see "Additional Resources" below) along with breakout groups to examine progress and needs of research, education, and diversity initiatives.
During the Site visit on December 4th, students will continue with a student led research workshop and will participate in a luncheon with site-team members as well as a research poster session as part of the NSF Site visit. Students, please come prepared to participate in the poster session - see link to details below.
All faculty and student participants are encouraged and welcome to attend. Strong partner representation from faculty and students is vital to a successful visit.
See detailed agendas below for the All-hands Meeting and Site Visit.
Students should arrive the evening of Dec. 2nd for the student/postdoc meetings that start morning of the 3rd and will finish after the poster session on Dec. 4th (which may not finish until 6pm). Students may need to stay another night due to flight times and leave in the morning of the 5th.
